Hudson's First Haircut!

We finally got up enough courage to have scissors get close to Tank's head for a haircut. Considering he never sits still, this was a BIG test. Luckily, he survived!
Now our baby boy looks like a little boy! *Sniff*

AJ's First Bike Ride

The snow finally melted and the sun came out enough to heat the earth so that AJ could get outside and ride the bike the got for Christmas for the first time. He had a blast!
Going down the driveway was a breeze, but he needed some help coming back up the driveway since it was a slight hill. I think Andy will make many, many trips up and down the driveway chasing him this Spring!

Hudson Turns One!!

Hudson is one year old!! Whohoo!! Here are some pictures from his birthday party that was held the weekend after his actual birthday. All of the grandparents were present and lots of friends and family were also in attendance, so AJ and Hudson were in Heaven.
AJ of course, thought it was his party. In his world, his birthday comes twice a year right now. We're working to correct that belief (fingers crossed)!

Hudson also had a good time eating his cake. He definitely has a sweet tooth!

Merry Christmas Ya'll

AJ and Hudson went to meet Santa for the first time tonight! We were planning on taking them tomorrow, but since the weather decided to make forecasters blow their minds with a 20 inch snowfall forecast, we quickly went with Plan B and took them to the mall tonight before the snow arrived. It worked out perfectly! What's even more amazing is that the boys both smiled AT THE SAME TIME. Score!
AJ was a bit shy around Santa. Hudson just stared him down and then yanked his beard. That's our Tank!

Under our Bed

Three times now Andy and I have enountered feet sticking out from under our bed. AJ escapes from his room and crawls under there waiting for us to find him, but he ends up falling asleep before we come up to bed!

Three Czajkowski Boys

Hudson here. Daddy, big brother AJ, and I decided to pose for Mommy. Of course, I had to sit on top and show everyone who's boss!

Meeting Baby Cousin Reagan

AJ and Hudson here. We met our baby cousin Reagan!! She is so little and dainty--we're going to have to break her in once she get's bigger! Hudson enjoyed playing with Mrs. Mirick. He even took the time to test out his cousin's exerciser!Uncle Jason & Aunt Katie looked relaxed and well-rested (har har).
AJ spent time getting chased around the house and trying on Daddy's shoes. Uncle Jason & Aunt Katie have wood floors so they are a LOT of fun to run around on!
They tried to get a picture of the three of us, but we resisted all looking at the camera at the same time. Fooled them!
Hudson enjoyed admiring Reagan. He even reached out to touch Reagan from time to time.

Mama & Papa's House

We went to visit Mama and Papa's house at the farm this past weekend. They have a pool! I had SOOOO much fun jumping off of the side of the pool into Daddy's arms and the water. Little brother Hudson even dipped his feet in and watched me splash. He wasn't too fond of the cold water, but he was a good sport.
Before we went to Mama & Papa's house, Hudson and I decided to take a picture with Mommy (she didn't have the camera on a rare moment!). Here we are looking cute!

First Foods

Hudson here. So, I was sitting around just hanging out with the family when I decided that "Hey, I'd like to eat that!" Next thing I knew, there was a spoon with some orange stuff in my mouth. Boy did it taste good! So far I've had carrots, sweet potatoes, applesauce, and green peas. I'm not terribly fond of the green peas, but that may be because of my cold. Either way, I'm going to be gnawing on a french fry soon!
One weekend morning when I was actually sleeping in, my big brother AJ was not. He decided to "prune" Mommy's plant. She was most upset when she found the carnage!
Hudson here. We had cowboy day at school a week or so ago. Mommy was afraid to tie a bandana around my neck, so she made me a gangsta cowboy and tied it around my head. Silly Mommy!
My big brother AJ was really sick a couple of weeks ago. He had a fever that just wouldn't go away--even spiked to 104.5 with Motrin in him! Mommy got to take him to the E.R. where a miracle $100 dose of Tylenol seemed to take all of his sickness away and all tests were negative. Unfortunately, that did not last long and they were back at the doctor's office two days later where the doctor discovered that whatever he had turned into an ear infection and pneumonia. Later that same day the hospital called to say that he had strep throat, too! Mommy and Daddy were saying something about a "trifecta" but I have know clue what that meant. All I knew was that there was a lot of Purell used and I was quarentined to "the serenity room" otherwise known as the living room. Thank goodness he's feeling better now!

Outdoor Play

Hudson here. My big brother AJ likes to play outside a lot. Unfortunately, this means that I get stuck in the Bumbo. With all of the spare time I've had, I've almost figured out how to escape.

On the Road

Ok, so I am trying this iPhone app to post to the blog to keep it more up to date. Right now I am wedged between two carseats travelling to meet our new niece/cousin.

Here are pictures of what I see on either side of me.

I roll! I sit! Tomorrow I walk!

Hudson here. So this lying down thing has gotten old. While I was hanging out on my back, I've self-taught myself how to roll. I can now roll front to back and back to front. In fact, anytime you place me on my back, I immediately flip onto my tummy. It's funny to watch Mommy and Daddy try to keep up!
Anyways, this rolling thing got a little boring after awhile, so now I'm training myself to sit up.
I heard that big brother didn't do any of this until he was 7 months old, so I'm ahead of the curve!

(Personally, I think he was just lazy!)
