What's this Grass Stuff?

AJ here. Today is Mother's Day! I had such a busy day! First, I had Daddy make Mommy eggs for breakfast. Then we went to church and afterwards I had Daddy take Mommy out to lunch. At lunch I gave Mommy a gift certificate to the spa so Daddy and I can spend a day together. Later Daddy put me in what he and Mommy call a yard. Mommy was planting flowers to make the house colorful on the outside. This grass stuff feels weird.

Sleeping in on Saturday

AJ here. I decided to get Mommy up early Saturday morning, but by 8am I was pooped. So I had Mommy take a nap with me. Daddy came downstairs and found us napping. He took this picture. Aren't I an angel?

So Tired....

AJ here. I was so tired yesterday! I spent all of my energy crying from 1am to 4am for Mommy & Daddy. They think I may have tooth pain, whatever a tooth is. Anyways, I recovered from my late night by taking a 4 hour nap. I feel so much better sleep-wise, but I'm still in a bit of a crabby mood. Mommy & Daddy are something called "pooped", and I thought that was something in my diaper, but I'm all clean.

8 Months Old!

Today AJ is 8 months old! He went to his first Gold Cup (steeplechase horse races), but it was cold and rainy, so he did not get to see any horses. He was the life of the party under the tent though! He also got to have Aunt Katie ride in the back seat with him. He does not cry anymore when she's nearby, much to Aunt Katie's relief!

AJ in the Walker

AJ has a walker now! He's almost master scooting backwards. He thinks he's such a big boy!!

AJ's Baptism

AJ got baptized this weekend! Present were Grandma & Grandpa Thomasson, Grandpa Czajkowski & Nadene, Uncle Jason & Aunt Katie, Uncle Todd, Uncle Alex, cousins Stottlemyers, cousins Colemans, cousins Dileonardos, cousins Brammers & guest, the Broemmers, the Conners, the Bowmans, the Chandlers, Jennifer Niemeyer, and Leslie Parker--whew! There was a lot of love there!! The rest of the Parkers and the Stultzs joined everyone back at the house after the service.

AJ's First Bat

Grandpa Czajkowski and Nadene gave AJ his first baseball and bat (soft of course). When AJ first grabbed ahold of the bat, he proceeded to use it like a club on his Mommy. At least he used his left hand!
