A Clean Plate?

AJ here. Every once in awhile I like to throw Mommy & Daddy for a loop. My latest "trick" was to actually eat everything on my plate! Mommy & Daddy were so shocked that they took this picture. Silly parents!

AJ here. I went to Grandma & Grandpa Thomasson's house this past weekend. I had so much FUN! First, Grandma & Grandpa T have this cool dog named Molly. She's a black german shepherd and I think she's fascinating. Molly thinks I'm fascinating too, so it's a good relationship. Grandpa took me around the house and farm for lots of walks to see Molly, sit on the tractor, sit in Uncle Todd's new truck, and pull weeds. Plus, Grandpa introduced me to these things called blackberries. Yum! The first day Grandpa had to pull them off of the vines for me, but by Sunday I was grazing those vines like a buffet!! I had blackberry juice all over my mouth, my hands and my shirt.

When I wasn't grazing berries I got to go swimming in their pool. At first I wasn't too happy with the idea of leaving the edge, but by the end I was jumping into the pool into Mommy's arms. Mommy, Grandpa, Grandma and I also visited Mommy's childhood babysitter, Mr. & Mrs. Hudson. Mrs. Hudson had this thing that made LOTS of noise and I LOVED it! I played and played and played and played. They had a dog, too! So much fun!

Unfortunately, Daddy got sick and spent a lot of the remaining weekend on the couch. Something about me sharing my tummy bug with him. Uncle Todd and Uncle Jason also got my tummy bug. My teachers at school would be so proud to see that I can share!

Fire Marshal AJ

AJ here. I love watering! I take it very seriously. Thank goodness Mommy found the magic switch to have the water come out automatically because it was taking all of my strength to keep it flowing! Yesterday I wore my junior fireman's hat that the nice firemen with the firetruck at Costco gave me. Of course, I watered more of the house than Mommy's plants (and got her and Daddy a time or two...hee hee!) but I still had fun!

Little Firecracker

AJ here. Happy (late) 4th of July! I got to play with Uncle Todd, Uncle Jason, Aunt Katie, Mrs. Parker, Miss Kaylee, and Mr. Logan and eat chocolate chip cookies. I had so much fun! Hope you had a good 4th!

AJ here. I got ahold of Mommy's iPhone this past weekend and guess what!?! It can take pictures! When Mommy found where I'd left it, she discovered the 50+ pictures I took!

A Banner Weekend for a Little Dude

AJ here. What a weekend! First, it started off by me getting to wear my Elmo ("Mel-Mo") shirt and eat Banana Bread. I LOVE Mel-Mo! Then on Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Air & Space Museum near the airport. In addition to Mel-Mo, I am obsessed with Airplanes so it was SO much fun looking at all the planes. I totally enjoyed running around the control tower and watching planes land at the airport too!

Saturday evening I got to go to an REO Speedwagon concert (whoever that is...) with Mommy & Daddy. I got to eat ice cream and play with my friends Mr. Gaskins and his girls. Girls are cool! Miss Savannah even shared her shaved ice with me, but I didn't want to eat any--I just wanted to play with the straw. Once the concert started I had a good time dancing and clapping my hands.

But wait! The weekend wasn't over yet! On Sunday, Mommy, Daddy, and I went out to eat and I got to sit next to Daddy and eat French Fries. Then, when I got up from my nap, Daddy bought me a kiddie pool that came with a slide and basketball goal! I LOVE IT! While Daddy was assembling it I got to play with the nozzle on the hose. I loved spraying water everywhere and watering Mommy's plants. It's a job that I take very seriously! I had so much fun this weekend that I can't wait for this next one to come!
