I Clean Chairs!

AJ here. This morning it was wet outside and we did not go to church, so I was looking for something to do. Mommy decided to steam clean our family room floor and clean our kitchen chairs because I had made a mess of them. Well, once I saw what Mommy was doing, I wanted to do it all by myself! I helped empty the dirty water from the cleaner and then I cleaned 6 chairs (I can count to 12 now!) and one ottoman. I had so much fun and took my job very seriously!

I Push My Own Cart!

AJ here. A couple of weekends ago, Daddy and I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things for Mommy. While we were there, Daddy introduced me to their "Customer in Training" shopping carts--carts made just my size for me! Wow! I had a blast walking around the store, putting food in the cart, and being a big boy. I didn't like giving the cart to the cashier--I didn't trust them.

Anyways Mommy, Daddy and I went to the store again the other night. At first Daddy was going to run in, but then I recognized the store and went crazy! In order to keep some peace, Mommy and I joined Daddy in the store. I marched right up to "my" cart and got down to business. Pushing two gallons of milk was a little tough, but I'm a strong boy and made it to the end. I even remembered where the free cookies for kiddies were and promptly laid claim upon mine. Mommy said something to Daddy about "creating a monster" but I don't know what that really meant--they talk in code sometimes!

My Birthday Party

AJ here. I had my 2nd birthday party this past weekend and I had a blast! Most of my bestest friends came over to play with me. We jumped on the jump and slide, dove into the ball pit (now equipped with 1250 balls--thanks Grandpa & Ms. Nadene!), played basketball and all made our own Elmo artwork. Plus, I got to blow candles out (which I kept doing before everyone started to sing) and eat an Elmo cupcake. Awesome! I want to do this EVERY weekend!!
