AJ here. I'm recovering from Christmas, but having a blast! The day after Grandpa Czajkowski, Daddy, and I played Wii Golf and Bowling. I had a blast! Daddy was concerned I was going to hit the TV, but everything turned out ok. Afterwards, I sat on Daddy, ate animal crackers from Santa and watched football.

Wii & Football
Christmas!
AJ here. I had an AWESOME Christmas! Santa brought me a 3 piece drum set in red, a piano, a wooden train, some paint, and Thomas. He also two bites out of the cookies I left him. It took me awhile to warm up to the idea, but afterwards I was full speed ahead. Mommy and Daddy gave me some mega blocks, a Thomas the Train coloring book & stickers, a Thomas the Train track set, and my own potty (2 actually). I also like Daddy's Rockband 2 gift from Mommy, Grandma & Papa T, Uncle Jason, and Aunt Katie, but I haven't gotten to play it live yet. Grandpa Czajkowski came right before I went down for my nap (I was already supposed to be sleeping, but the smoke detector in my room decided to have a low battery, so we had to wait for Daddy to come home and change it). We opened gifts and ate a turkey dinner after I woke up. I got clothes, a big dinosaur coloring book, some toy trucks that make noise, Toy Story 2 and Chip and Dale DVDs, and a gift certificate from Grandpa & Ms. Nadene. Plus, I ate cookies and Peppermint Patties...it was a great day!

So Many New Things!

AJ here. It's been awhile since I posted because I've been SO busy! We went to Grandma and PaPa Thomasson's for Thanksgiving--I had a blast playing outside in 60 degree weather. Once we were back, Mommy and Daddy brought out all of these decorations and LIGHTS! I have the special job of turning on the lights in the house each night.
We had our annual Christmas Party last weekend and the night before the party started I got a new room, new bed, and new playroom in the basement! I'm a big boy now! Mommy is happy that most of my toys are in the basement and I love my big boy bed and new room--my basketball goal is in there! I had a lot of fun at the Christmas party too--I played with so many friends and discovered that all 1250 balls from my ball pit can be spread across all of the basement. Mommy and Daddy are still trying to get me to squeal on how my playroom Christmas tree got broken and came tumbling down, but I'm not falling for their candy bribes.
Last night, I decided to test out my "freedom" and got out of bed EIGHT times. Mommy and Daddy are not too happy with me right now. I'm very sneaky. According to Daddy "He's so stealth, I think he's destined to be a Navy SEAL. Tonight, I suspect he'll sneak in our room, hold Elmo to my throat, and demand I open the gate to downstairs so he can watch Thomas and eat candy."
Attached are some random pictures. One is of me "pumping iron" in our new gym in the basement that Mr. Stultz took of me during the party. Another is of the Santa plate that Mommy painted for me to give Santa cookies, and the last one is of Mommy, Daddy, and Evan's mom at their company Christmas party.
Santa's coming to visit me next week as well as Grandpa Czajkowski! So excited this year!

Little Drummer Boy
AJ fell in love with the drums when he visited Mr. Gary and got to play on his kit. Now he asks to see the master in action each night. Hmmm. Potential Christmas present?
Hokie Bounce
Jilly is grooming her little dude to be a future Hokie. What you don't see is that she did this at least three times. Hey, they actually won that night. Maybe he needs to do the bounce every game?!

Jailbird!
AJ here. I don't have much time to write because I've been such a busy boy! I've been helping Mommy do everything lately. So far I've helped her make pancakes, orange slice cookies, dinner, and do laundry. I've also been helping Uncle Todd. Tonight I climbed into his lap when he sat down at the computer and I helped him sing "The Wheels on the Bus" from my Sesame Street program. Todd was thrilled!
BUT the biggest news on the block is -- I learned how to escape from my crib!!!! I'm free! My first escape was Sunday during my nap and I'm 5-0 in successful escapes since. Mommy and Daddy are scrambling trying to figure out how to stop me, but I've managed to outwit them everytime. So much fun!!

The Week of "Yeah" Followed by "Mine!"
AJ here. Last week I decided to start saying "Yeah" instead of "Yes" which is driving Mommy and Daddy crazy. Shh! Don't tell them that I learned to say "Yeah!" from them! Anyways, whenever I say it now, Mommy and Daddy correct me and I follow up with "Yes" but I haven't broken their habit yet. Plus, tonight I started saying another new word: "MINE!" Yup, everything is "Mine!" Mommy and Daddy are ecstatic. In addition, my interpretation of tasks is a bit misconstrued. For example, Mommy asked me to bring the basket of clothes next to her. So, I proceeded to empty the basket of all of the clothes and put them in Mommy's lap (sometimes throwing). Daddy laughed, but I think I got him in trouble. I help her so much now!
Cox Farms

AJ here. This weekend Mommy & Daddy took me to this place called Cox Farms. They said it's near where they used to live in their townhouse, whenever that was. Anyways, this place was so much fun! They had many, many slides and I loved them all. I even went on the super big ones and cackled the entire time. I also got to see roosters, chickens, baby pigs, sheep, goats, a big cow, and three little calves. Towards the end, Daddy and I took a ride on their hayride. I got to see buffalo and some longhorn, but I got a little scared when they took us through the barn tunnel. Afterwards, I was pooped! Mommy and Daddy ate some food while I was fascinated with the men playing music on the stage. When we left we each got to take home a small pumpkin. I can't wait to go back!Sunday, September 28, 2008

I Push My Own Cart!

AJ here. A couple of weekends ago, Daddy and I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things for Mommy. While we were there, Daddy introduced me to their "Customer in Training" shopping carts--carts made just my size for me! Wow! I had a blast walking around the store, putting food in the cart, and being a big boy. I didn't like giving the cart to the cashier--I didn't trust them.Anyways Mommy, Daddy and I went to the store again the other night. At first Daddy was going to run in, but then I recognized the store and went crazy! In order to keep some peace, Mommy and I joined Daddy in the store. I marched right up to "my" cart and got down to business. Pushing two gallons of milk was a little tough, but I'm a strong boy and made it to the end. I even remembered where the free cookies for kiddies were and promptly laid claim upon mine. Mommy said something to Daddy about "creating a monster" but I don't know what that really meant--they talk in code sometimes!
