Memorial Day Weekend

AJ here. I had a great Memorial Day! First, I went to Yankee Stadium with Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa C, and Ms. Nadene. I had a blast climbing all over Mommy and Daddy and I enjoyed eating a soft pretzel and some ice cream. Yum! Everytime the crowd cheered (the Yankees scored 12 runs, so there was a lot of cheering) I jumped up and clapped my hands too!

After the game we travelled onward to Albany to stay at Grandpa's house. Daddy & Grandpa played golf the next morning with Mr. Nowik and Mr. Lanides while Mommy and I went to the playground. After we left the playground, Mommy took me to Cracker Barrel. I LOVED the biscuits, playing with the pegs and rocking in a rocking chair just my size! I was so exhausted from the playground and Cracker Barrel that I napped for over 3 hours! Once I woke up, Mommy and I went to the Nowik's house for dinner and fun. Mr. Nowik let me play his drums and I had a blast! Plus, Mommy and Daddy enjoyed catching up with the Nowiks and "Uncle Mike" and loved the yummy food (LOVED the berry pie!).

On Memorial Day Mommy, Daddy, and Grandpa took me to a park where I got to play on a BIG playground, look at ducks and fish in a pond, and swing in a swing. We ate lunch afterwards, but I was way too tired to enjoy a taste of ice cream from the Country Drive In. Bummer! After my nap, we went to visit the Franchinis. I played with Christian while Mommy and Daddy played with their friends. Christian's going to be a big brother! Exciting! We had SO much fun playing and eating a yummy dinner. We all cannot wait to visit the Nowiks and Franchinis again in August!!

Uncle Alex Graduates!

AJ here. Mommy, Daddy, and I travelled to Blacksburg two weekends ago for Uncle Alex's graduation from Virginia Tech. After travelling in the car and eating dinner with Uncle Alex, Mommy and Daddy took me to the drillfield to "burn off some energy" whatever that means.

We stayed with Dr. & Mrs. Birch and I had so much fun! They had lot of toys that made a lot of noise AND they had a basketball and goal. I LOVE BASKETBALL! Anyways, I stayed behind and played with Mrs. Birch while Mommy and Daddy attended Uncle Alex's ceremony with the rest of the family. I had so much fun playing with Mrs. Birch that I didn't want to leave!!

We went to Grandma & Grandpa Thomasson's house later Saturday to visit. Grandma & Grandpa threw a cookout in honor of Mommy and all my uncles for getting out of school. I entertained the guests by running in circles on the deck and playing with Molly, the dog.
