Jailbird!

AJ here. I don't have much time to write because I've been such a busy boy! I've been helping Mommy do everything lately. So far I've helped her make pancakes, orange slice cookies, dinner, and do laundry. I've also been helping Uncle Todd. Tonight I climbed into his lap when he sat down at the computer and I helped him sing "The Wheels on the Bus" from my Sesame Street program. Todd was thrilled!
BUT the biggest news on the block is -- I learned how to escape from my crib!!!! I'm free! My first escape was Sunday during my nap and I'm 5-0 in successful escapes since. Mommy and Daddy are scrambling trying to figure out how to stop me, but I've managed to outwit them everytime. So much fun!!

The Week of "Yeah" Followed by "Mine!"

AJ here. Last week I decided to start saying "Yeah" instead of "Yes" which is driving Mommy and Daddy crazy. Shh! Don't tell them that I learned to say "Yeah!" from them! Anyways, whenever I say it now, Mommy and Daddy correct me and I follow up with "Yes" but I haven't broken their habit yet. Plus, tonight I started saying another new word: "MINE!" Yup, everything is "Mine!" Mommy and Daddy are ecstatic.

In addition, my interpretation of tasks is a bit misconstrued. For example, Mommy asked me to bring the basket of clothes next to her. So, I proceeded to empty the basket of all of the clothes and put them in Mommy's lap (sometimes throwing). Daddy laughed, but I think I got him in trouble. I help her so much now!

Cox Farms

AJ here. This weekend Mommy & Daddy took me to this place called Cox Farms. They said it's near where they used to live in their townhouse, whenever that was. Anyways, this place was so much fun! They had many, many slides and I loved them all. I even went on the super big ones and cackled the entire time. I also got to see roosters, chickens, baby pigs, sheep, goats, a big cow, and three little calves. Towards the end, Daddy and I took a ride on their hayride. I got to see buffalo and some longhorn, but I got a little scared when they took us through the barn tunnel. Afterwards, I was pooped! Mommy and Daddy ate some food while I was fascinated with the men playing music on the stage. When we left we each got to take home a small pumpkin. I can't wait to go back!
